About Me
I decided to start this blog after working with a non-profit organization that worked to end abuse. I originally started another blog on Domestic Abuse for The JAA Foundation. I started this blog in order to try reach a broader audience. I am currently in college to be a social worker. I truly believe even one person can make a difference. That is why I took it upon myself to truly spread the facts. I wanted to help raise awareness about the different types of resources available for victims of domestic abuse or violence. I am simply an everyday person trying to make a difference. I am just spreading the facts through Help Stop Domestic Abuse Now here at helpstopdomesticabusenow.blogspot.com

Hi Kayla,
ReplyDeleteJust a short note to let you know I've included something I found on your site about Jagori in my forthcoming book, Poetry of Divorce: for women.
It's a book designed to help women struggling with the angst of divorce and separation. I've a section in it about the global organisations who exist to help women suffering at the hands of domestic abusers and the website is listed there.
I wanted to say that this was the first time I had come across your site and it's wonderful - well done you for making such a positive mark on such a dark topic.
For your information, I too started writing a Coping Tip of the Day which is free and angled at such ladies. I have quite a significant number of subscribers in India, hence my research.
Anyway, just wanted to touch base and say thank you for your site - I am sure you have been a lifeline to many.
Kind regards,
Tracey West
